The Swiss Life Asset Management AG is responsible for the real estate asset management of Swiss Life and other real estate vehicles (funds, investment foundations, etc.). In the Real Estate Switzerland division, over 100 real estate specialists from portfolio and asset management, construction trust, acquisition as well as finance, accounting and controlling are entrusted with the owner tasks.
In this dynamic and continuously growing organizational unit, we are looking for an experienced person in the tax and fiduciary area of real estate (m/f/d) to support the existing team in our finance department. In this role, you are responsible for:
The Role
- Handling tax aspects of real estate vehicles (real estate companies, investment foundations and real estate funds)
- Supporting real estate transactions and restructurings (tax and land registry aspects)
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual financial statements of the real estate vehicles (tax accruals) and supporting our accounting department and portfolio managers in connection with VAT and direct tax aspects
- Preparing complex tax returns for direct taxes, reviewing tax bills and assessments
- Reviewing and preparing VAT returns, sales reconciliations and changes in use within the real estate portfolio
- Correspondence with tax authorities, notaries and land registry offices in German and French; supporting file requirements and tax audits, tax rulings, as well as any legal remedies
Expertise
- University of applied sciences or university degree in business administration or law
- Training as a certified tax expert, MAS Taxation or MAS VAT desirable
- Several years of professional experience in the tax or fiduciary area of legal entities, as well as in real estate and land registry aspects
- Strong team and communication skills, personality with a positive, open demeanor
- Analytical and structured thinking, affinity for numbers as well as precise and proactive working style
- Very good German and French skills in writing and speaking, additional foreign languages (English / Italian) advantageous
