External Technician - Mechanics

Within the Services & Performance Business Unit, we offer you the opportunity to join our Pool of External Technicians looking for their future Field Service Technician/External Technician, specialist in Mechanics.

This is a permanent contract, 100% activity rate, based at our site in Mex (headquarters and production).

The job of Field Service Technician requires a strong desire and availability to go on missions to our clients abroad for 150 to 200 days a year over several days/weeks in a row.

YOUR MISSION:

• Assembly, installation, and commissioning of cardboard cutting equipment and machines at our clients in Switzerland and abroad;
• Troubleshooting and technical assistance internally and at our clients;
• Training of our clients' personnel on safety, use, and maintenance of our equipment as well as on the use of technical documentation;
• Collaboration and technical support with the various departments related to the product/machine (Technical Support, R&D, marketing, demonstration, training);

YOUR PROFILE:

• Technical training, with a CFC mechanic, polymecanic or equivalent training.
• You have a strong interest in operating industrial equipment, transferring knowledge, and a desire to acquire new skills.
• You are willing to travel abroad (150 to 200 days a year) to our clients, in our manufacturing sites and subsidiaries.
• You have good knowledge of English, mastery of other languages is a plus.
• Good communicator, you are able to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Open and client-oriented, you have a real ability to connect with others and create a climate of trust.
• Organized and autonomous, you possess a great capacity for adaptation and stress management.
• Flexible and dynamic, you are available for hours adapted to the needs of clients.
• You have knowledge of MS-Office Windows office tools.
• You hold a category B driving license.
