A medical assistant at 80 – 100%
on a permanent contract
for the Grand-Saconnex Medical Center
Your main missions:
Reception and administrative management
- Welcome and guide patients with empathy and efficiency
- Manage calls, appointment scheduling, agendas, and patient requests
- Prepare, update, and digitize medical records
- Participate in the smooth organization of the center's daily operations
Medical care and support
- Perform technical care: blood draws, injections, dressings, ECGs, aerosols, infusions…
- Conduct rapid tests: D-dimers, CRP, Troponins, Quick, capillary blood glucose, urine tests (pregnancy, Hp Stix), uricult
- Set up measurement devices: MAPA, Holter ECG, nocturnal oximetry
- Assist doctors during consultations or minor interventions (stitches, samples…)
- Ensure comprehensive and caring support for patients
Hygiene, quality, and safety
- Apply current hygiene and safety protocols
- Conduct internal quality controls and ensure the monitoring of materials
- Manage the disposal of medical waste according to current standards
Digital and professional tools
- Use the Mediway software for managing patient records, planning consultations, processing requests, and scanning medical documents
Prerequisites:
- CFC of medical assistant
- Current cantonal practice license
- Perfect command of French, spoken and written
- Proficiency in common IT tools, such as Mediway, is an asset
- Knowledge of a second language is an asset
Skills:
- Mastery of outpatient technical care (blood draws, ECGs, rapid tests…)
- Reactivity, autonomy, and ability to manage priorities
- Patient-oriented, ability to reassure and remain calm in emergency situations
- Team spirit and a desire to contribute to a positive collective dynamic
