The Nature Museum of Graubünden is one of the three cantonal museums and provides information about the local nature. Every year, well over 30,000 people visit our exhibitions and benefit from the rich offer of guided tours, presentations, courses, and excursions. The team consists of about 25 employees specialized in numerous areas of expertise. To ensure the smooth running of the museum's many activities, professional personnel and financial administration as well as the use of modern IT tools and electronic data processing are also essential.
Following the retirement of the current job holder, we are looking for an administration manager for July 1, 2026, or by agreement.
- Independent organization and management of the secretariat, including archiving of documents (GEVER) as well as management of mail, email, and telephone communications
- Management of administration and reception staff
- Drafting and managing the budget in collaboration with the museum management
- Monitoring budget directives and invoicing, managing the KWF creditor workflow
- Personnel administration
- Organizing meetings and events (exhibition openings, Long Saturday, etc.)
- Power user
- Commercial training (commercial apprenticeship, business school, or professional maturity) with extensive professional development or several years of professional experience in human resources and finance
- Solid IT knowledge and electronic data processing skills (MS Office) as well as insight and willingness to familiarize yourself with new tools
- High social skills as well as ability and experience in personnel management
- Teamwork attitude
- Organizational skills, fast, independent, and precise working method, high ability to cope with large workloads and flexibility
- Fluency in German; knowledge of another cantonal language is an advantage
- Interest in nature-related topics and museum activities
