The St. Josef Foundation is an important organization with a social mission in the canton of Aargau. The core tasks include residential and day-structure options for people with disabilities, the special education school, as well as a diverse therapeutic offering.
Our public self-service restaurant JoJo is located in the heart of the St. Josef Foundation and offers a versatile and varied high-quality range throughout the entire day, 365 days a year, consisting of various menus, front cooking (pasta concept, wok or grill), free choice buffet, extensive salad buffet, and snacks. Seminars, conferences, events, cultural events, as well as various company or family occasions complete our broad service offering.
In the gastronomy of the St. Josef Foundation, our central kitchen with a team of 21 employees spoils around 400 internal and external guests as well as employees daily. In the core business, the central kitchen provides our clientele with an attractive, healthy, and varied offer throughout the day.
- Assistance in the production of cold and hot kitchen and front cooking in front of the guest
- Responsibility for the proper, hygienic, and ecological cleaning of all dishes and the gastronomy premises
- Assistance with the maintenance and care of machines and equipment
- Participation in various events in the evenings and on weekends (banquets from small family celebrations to large parties)
- Several years of professional experience in gastronomy (ideally in communal catering)
- Apprenticeship as a cook or several years of experience as an assistant cook (ideally in communal catering)
- Good spoken German skills
- Self-responsibility and a reliable way of working
- Flexible, uncomplicated, and open personality with a strong team orientation
- You can expect a versatile task in a motivated, well-coordinated team
