During the internship, you will support data collection as part of a doctoral thesis on the topic "Adaptability of natural regeneration of beech to climate change." You will assist with the inventory of regeneration and stands as well as with sampling and conducting measurements in the field, such as biomass surveys, gas exchange measurements, leaf water potential measurements, or sampling for isotope analyses. You will also support the setup of study plots and the preparation of samples in the laboratory for subsequent analyses.
