Research and testing in the field of materials place high demands on testing machines, fixtures, and devices. Often, the desired goals and results cannot be achieved with standard commercial systems and devices. As an internal service department, it is our task to bridge this gap and develop appropriate solutions. 

For the Dübendorf site, we are looking for a customer-oriented and committed personality. 

The task of the design department is to develop solution approaches and concepts for prototypes in close collaboration with internal research partners, to elaborate them, and to implement them together with the workshops.

Primarily, you independently design, calculate, and construct research fixtures and systems of all kinds. You are the contact person for internal customers when accepting orders. Your responsibilities also include organizing, coordinating, and monitoring projects as well as supporting the team, which you lead personally and professionally.

A completed apprenticeship as a polymechanic/designer EFZ as well as further training to a certified mechanical engineer HTL/FH is a must. You bring project management experience and possess organizational talent. Good English skills complete your profile perfectly.
