Imagine this: A company is planning its next meeting in Vienna. An international group is looking for the perfect hotel for their stay. An event needs to be organized where everything has to be just right. This is exactly where you come in.
As a Groups & MICE Business Development Coordinator, you are the person who turns inquiries into real experiences. You are often the first contact for our customers, listen carefully, ask the right questions, and find out what they really need. With your support, an inquiry becomes an offer, an offer becomes a booking – and in the end, an event or group stay that our guests will fondly remember.
Behind the scenes, you ensure that everything runs smoothly. You work in the sales, event, and reservation teams, support daily operations, and occasionally step in when someone is on vacation. You keep an overview of the numbers, maintain statistics, and create monthly reports so that we always know where we stand and where we can improve.
When guests or organizers come to our house, you enthusiastically show them our location, guide them through our event rooms, and give them a sense of what is possible with us. At the same time, you actively work on successfully selling our rooms and room contingents for groups and events.
Of course, preparing offers and system maintenance are also part of the job – mainly in Backyou and Opera. But don’t worry: For us, it’s not just about systems and numbers. It’s mainly about people, collaboration, and finding good solutions together for our guests.

- Completed training in hospitality or sales – ideally with professional experience in reservations, events, or sales
- Positive charisma, confident appearance, empathy, and a good sense for our demanding guests
- Strong communication skills as well as a high degree of initiative and independent work in a dynamic team
- Good computer skills
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written

The collective agreement monthly minimum gross salary for this position is € 2,263,--.
The willingness to pay above this amount is present and depends on qualifications and professional experience.
