Assistant Spa Manager (m/f/d)

About the job

• Support the Spa & Recreation Manager in managing the spa area, coordinating daily operations, and leading the spa team, including onboarding, coaching, and ensuring high service standards

• Friendly and proactive interaction with guests, advising on spa offers, fulfilling individual wishes, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience

• Monitoring compliance with spa processes, SOPs, hygiene, health and safety guidelines, as well as internal quality standards (LQA, CMS)

• Managing spa reservations and memberships, handling inquiries, creating new memberships, and controlling the hair salon booking system

• Checking inventories, goods usage, monthly closings, ordering processes, and implementing promotional activities

• Organizing and leading internal team meetings, participating in morning meetings, and working closely with all hotel departments to optimize guest satisfaction

• Active handling of guest complaints, ensuring appropriate service recovery, and coordinating necessary repairs or interventions

• Completed commercial training or hotel management training and at least 2 years of experience in a comparable position, ideally in the spa or wellness sector

• Passion and great interest in the spa and wellness sector as well as a high awareness of quality

• Experience in employee motivation, leadership, and development; ability to inspire and promote teams

• Strong team spirit, reliability, resilience, and organizational skills

• Strong social skills, assertiveness, and negotiation confidence

• Well-groomed appearance, excellent grooming, and role model function regarding the company and spa philosophy

• Fluent German and English skills; additional foreign languages are an advantage
