The Jewish Community of Basel (IGB) is a traditional and vibrant Jewish community offering a diverse range of programs for its members of all ages. Are you passionate about youth work, Jewish identity, and eager to guide and support the next generation? Do you have a talent for organization, love bringing people together, and want to actively shape community life? Then we are looking for you:
Head of Youth and Events (100% - FT position) Youth Department (approx. 50-60%/20-24 hours per week as annual working hours) You will lead our two youth movements and support the madrichim/ot in planning and executing Shabbat and leisure programs, machanot and activities for the holidays. You will also design and lead the day camp program and develop events for young adults. Administrative support for the youth commission - including meetings, minutes, and reports - completes your varied job profile. Depending on your interests and qualifications, you may also support children's religious education, the Bat/Bar Mitzvah course, or help develop the educational program further. Events Department (approx. 40-50%/16-20 hours per week as annual working hours) You will plan, organize, and run events for various target groups - from families and youth to adults - especially in the context of Jewish holidays and other community programs. You will also create communication materials and videos, manage livestreams, and develop unique projects and events that enrich community life. In addition, you will be responsible for budget planning and fundraising for the financing of events, programs, and projects. You will maintain active collaboration with Jewish organizations in Switzerland and abroad, such as BBYO or partner communities. What you bring:

- Enthusiasm for Jewish life, traditions, and values
- Independent, structured, and reliable work style as well as organizational talent
- Technical skills for producing videos, livestreams, and flyers
- Enjoyment of teamwork and active communication
- Musical or creative talents are a plus
- Experience in budgeting, fundraising, and public relations is desirable
