The Functional Urology Research Program at the University Hospital Bern unites clinical, biological, and engineering expertise to uncover the mechanisms underlying lower urinary tract dysfunction (LUTD).
 
Tasks
 - Perform biological and molecular biology experiments (Cell culture, RNA/DNA/protein analyses, PCR, Western blot, sequencing, flow cytometry).
 - Conduct animal experiments (Experimentation, Care, Handling, Documentation).
 - Manage laboratory orders, inventory, and financial routines.
 - Support experiment planning and collaborate closely with scientists.
 - Ensure laboratory organization, quality, and safety standards.
 
Requirements
 - Completed training as a laboratory technician in biology or equivalent
 - Solid knowledge of biological and molecular biology techniques.
 - Experience in animal work (LTK, FELASA or equivalent).
 - Strong organizational skills, experience in ordering and finances.
 - Excellent teamwork and communication in an interdisciplinary environment.
 - Good German and English (spoken/written).
