About the job
Tox Info Suisse (www.toxinfo.ch) operates the emergency number 145 in Switzerland. Physicians and other medical professionals provide daily around-the-clock telephone advice onpoisonings caused by chemicals, medications, toxic plants, mushrooms or animals, as well as drugs and much more.
At our location, in the heart of Zurich with around 50 employees, we are looking to relieve our medical consultants immediately or by arrangement
Medical students from the 3rd semester / 2nd year of study
who will take calls at Tox Info Suisse in the evenings from 5-9 pm and additionally on weekends from 8 am to 3 pm, triage and forward them. The workload is at least 15%, i.e. regularly at least 2 evening shifts per week or 1 weekend day shift. The minimum employment period is 12 months, a longer period is preferred. The vacation entitlement is 4 weeks.
We expect reliability, flexibility, resilience, team spirit, and good language skills
(German, French, and English mandatory, Italian an advantage). You appreciate contact with
people and show understanding for callers in exceptional situations.
