Your tasks
As a specialist in school social work, you will advise secondary school students from April 1, 2026, or by arrangement, with a workload of at least 50% on personal, social, and school-related challenges. You promote their integration into the class and support the school team in recognizing psychosocial problems and initiating early interventions. You contribute your expertise to carry out prevention work and positively shape participation opportunities and community building at the school. You maintain a sustainable network with the relevant counseling centers.
Your profile
You are a committed personality with professional experience in school social work or counseling experience in the youth sector. You are interested in age-typical developmental tasks and associated aspects of mental health. With your solution-oriented systemic approach, you can mediate well between different concerns. You have an independent, structured, and reflective way of working and look forward to helping shape the new support offer at secondary schools. Knowledge in concept and project work is advantageous for this. Your communication skills, teamwork, and resilience benefit you both in dealing with various stakeholders and in managing crises. A formal requirement for application is a bachelor's degree in social work combined with further training in school social work (CAS) or a comparable field (CAS).
