The Hotel Bodmi in Grindelwald is opening a new chapter. With the summer season 2026, we are repositioning our restaurant and our breathtaking panorama terrace: as the "place to be" for enjoyment, views, and unforgettable moments above the village. With our "classic, modern, and international cuisine," a focus on sustainability, and a calendar full of unique events, we want to set new standards.
For this exciting mission, we are looking for a charismatic and entrepreneurial personality as
Restaurant & Event Manager (m/f/d) 100%
Seasonal position May - October 2026 (with option for extension/permanent position)
Your domain:
You are the strategic mind and passionate host for our entire F&B area. You lead the restaurant, the panorama terrace, the bar, and the new food truck to success. You are not only a manager but also a visionary and creator.
Your main tasks:
- Strategic leadership: You are responsible for the operational and strategic management of the entire F&B area and report directly to the hotel management.
- Team leadership: You recruit, lead, and inspire your service and event team to top performance and create a motivating work environment.
- Passionate host: You are present on the front line, shape the guest experience, and ensure excellent service quality.
- Event mastermind: You are the creative mind behind our event calendar. From conception through planning to execution of "Sunday Brunches," "Full Moon Dinners," or "Grill & Chill" evenings, everything is in your hands.
- Marketing champion: In close cooperation with hotel management, you develop and manage marketing and social media activities to tell our story and excite guests.
- Numbers juggler: You create and monitor budgets, analyze key figures, and ensure the economic efficiency of the operation.
Your profile:
- Experience: You have completed training in hospitality/gastronomy (e.g., hotel management school) and bring several years of leadership experience from a comparable position in upscale gastronomy.
- Entrepreneurial spirit: You think and act like an entrepreneur, see opportunities, and gladly take responsibility.
- Event gene: You have proven experience in event management and love creating unforgettable experiences.
- Leadership personality: You are a strong communicator, a team player, and know how to motivate and develop people.
- Digital native: You are proficient in using social media and modern marketing tools.
- Languages: You speak fluent German and English.
