Tasks
- Erlerne technische Fähigkeiten in der dreijährigen Ausbildung.
- Vertiefe selbständig die zugewiesenen Aufgaben nach Vorgaben.
- Übernehme anspruchsvolle Wartungsaufträge am Flughafen Zürich.
Skills
- Technische Lehre, Kenntnisse in Elektrik/Elektronik erforderlich.
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (mind. B2).
- Zuverlässige, flexible Persönlichkeit mit Führerausweis Kat. B.

About the job
The Swiss Air-Rescue Rega provides professional medical assistance from the air around the clock to patients in Switzerland and worldwide. It is a non-profit and private foundation supported by more than 3.6 million patrons.Would you like to live out your fascination for helicopter flying as an aircraft mechanic? We offer you the opportunity to complete a practical secondary training in the helicopter mechanic team. We are looking for a team-oriented person from September 2026 who sees their professional future in the technical environment of the helicopter industry.
These activities will excite you
- Learning new technical skills in the form of a three-year secondary training as a helicopter aircraft mechanic according to the guidelines of the European Aviation Safety Agency EASA and the requirements of the Federal Office of Civil Aviation FOCA
- Independent deepening of assigned tasks according to specifications (see video: https://rega.ch/helikoptermechaniker)
- Taking on demanding maintenance tasks at the Rega Center at Zurich Airport as well as occasionally at the nationwide Rega bases
This is what distinguishes you
- Completed technical apprenticeship (according to SVFB)
- Good knowledge in electrical engineering and/or electronics
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written (at least B2 level)
- Reliable, flexible, and proactive personality
- Driver's license category B
