- EDPR62
- The EDPR, attached to the SPNE, is a high-security closed detention facility. It is notably specialized in emergency reception, pre-trial detention, behavioral development research, and short-term release preparation. It also focuses on intervention in complex situations or those involving psychiatric disorders.
- As a detention officer and workshop supervisor, you provide and supplement the training of detainees, respecting the regulations and security measures in force. By facilitating the relationships of incarcerated persons with the outside world, you play an essential role in their social development and reintegration, while ensuring respect for their fundamental rights. Your mission is to train, evaluate, and supervise them during workshop work, which you plan and organize optimally. You are also responsible for managing the time records of employed persons for their remuneration. Furthermore, due to your versatility, you provide substitution in various workshops and may be required to work in the cell sector.
Depending on the entity's needs, working hours may be irregular (night and weekend shifts).
- Holder of a CFC or an equivalent diploma, you are at least 25 years old. Experience in the security field and excellent physical condition are assets (physical tests and a medical examination may be required during recruitment).
Endowed with a true team spirit, you demonstrate openness, active listening, and discernment, including in managing conflict situations. Your natural authority allows you to enforce rules confidently while embodying a model of exemplary behavior. Your social skills enable you to combine empathy with the necessary professional distance.
You have a good command of the French language; knowledge of foreign languages is an asset, and you are comfortable with common computer tools.
Prerequisites: residence in Switzerland; category B driving license; clean criminal record and debt enforcement register extract.
As part of your employment, you will follow the basic training leading to the federal certificate of detention officer at the Swiss Competence Center for the Execution of Penal Sanctions (CSCSP) in Fribourg; you will be sworn in.
