About the job
The St.Gallen municipal utilities are a reliable partner for the population and economy of the city of St.Gallen as well as partly the region in the supply of energy, water, and fiber optics. To support the Finance and Services, Facility Management department, we are looking for a committed personality as
Team Leader Cleaning (m/f/d) 50%
We actively shape the energy transition and are looking for a motivated personality who wants to actively help shape this change.
This is what you will do:
- Support the Head of Facility Management in managing our five locations in St. Gallen
- Professional and personnel leadership of eight to ten employees (cleaning staff)
- Responsibility for the quality of cleaning at the sgsw locations
- Central contact person for all cleaning-related questions, both internally and externally
- Your workload includes about 30% practical cleaning work (supporting the team) and about 20% administrative tasks (creating deployment plans, organizing substitutes during illness or vacation, as well as procuring and checking consumables)
- Monitoring external service providers based on defined performance indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
This is what you bring with you:
- Completed training as a building cleaner or similar, as well as further training in the cleaning industry
- Ideally, first professional experience in facility management
- Interest in a service company in the areas of heating, electricity, and water
- Affinity for numbers, understanding of complex contexts, and an analytical mindset
- High degree of flexibility, personal responsibility, negotiation skills, and assertiveness
- Organizational and coordination talent
- Strong customer and service awareness combined with pronounced problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of the German language
