The Arte Hotel is known throughout Switzerland as an excellent 4*-seminar and conference hotel, in the best location in Olten. The offer includes 12 modern conference and seminar rooms, equipped with the latest technology and with a capacity for up to 500 people.
In addition, there are 79 modern hotel rooms and an excellent international cuisine in the "pure" restaurant with lounge, bar, and terrace.
The Oltnerhof Hotel is a hotel garni with 15 double and single rooms each and has been part of the company since January 1, 2020.
We have an interesting position to fill to complement our well-established team of young and young-at-heart employees, we are looking for a Junior Chef / Commis de Cuisine (m/f/d) 80-100% immediately or by arrangement.
A varied activity awaits you:
Independent work with a focus on the entremetier position - assignments in other kitchen positions as needed
Responsibility for a smooth workflow
Preparing, planning, and implementing events, banquets, and seminar buffets
Supporting production and manufacturing
Ensuring high customer and guest satisfaction
Compliance with HACCP guidelines as well as our internal quality and safety standards
Promoting and maintaining enthusiasm and drive for cooking in the team
Practical support and guidance for the cooking apprentices
What should your experience backpack look like?
Completed training as a cook/cook EFZ
First experience in a hotel or banquet kitchen is an advantage, but not a must
Creative flair and a fine sense for modern as well as classic cuisine
Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, independent and structured work
Team and conflict skills as well as a positive, well-groomed appearance and good manners
You have good Swiss German or German language skills
