Customs Specialist (m/f/d) - Georg Fischer Piping Systems AG - Logistic Unit, Schaffhausen

Your tasks:

• Ensuring compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations for Switzerland & EU
• Review of import and export customs declarations using CH-Passar, ATLAS
• Classification of goods using HS/customs tariff numbers, ECCN as well as maintenance of master data in SAP
• Application of preferential agreements such as certificates of origin, supplier declarations or EUR.1
• Handling customs procedures and supporting audits and internal controls
• Identifying process improvements to increase efficiency and compliance

Your profile:

• At least 4 years of professional experience in customs or foreign trade functions in an international industrial or trading company
• Very good knowledge of Swiss and EU customs regulations, goods control ordinance and foreign trade law
• Experience in goods classification and ensuring compliance with preferential origin rules
• Confident handling of customs applications and SAP
• Analytical, structured and reliable working style with high attention to detail
• Very good German and English skills, additional languages are an advantage
