Auditor / Internal Auditor

Financial Control | 80-100% | Chur

The Financial Control is the highest specialist body of financial supervision. It supports the Grand Council, the government, and the courts in the financial supervision of the administration and judicial administration. The work of the Financial Control is carried out according to recognized standards (SA-CH, IPPF, and Cobit) and according to administrative law and business management principles.

We are looking for a motivated auditor or internal auditor (80 – 100%) to start immediately or by arrangement.

Your area of responsibility

Audit of the canton’s annual financial statement and the financial management of the cantonal offices
Audit of the existence and effectiveness of the internal control system in relevant business processes and projects
Audit of efficiency and legality
Co-responsibility for professional and qualified reporting that generates added value and security for the audited entities and political bodies
Advisory participation in commissions and working groups

What we expect from you

Education in accounting or business administration at a university of applied sciences/university as well as experience in auditing
Diploma as an auditor, CIA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage, or you want to obtain such a diploma alongside your job
Quick comprehension of complex contexts and a high degree of independence and initiative
Goal orientation with a focus on the essentials as well as openness to new aspects and issues
Logical and systematic approach to analyses
Quick recognition of cross-departmental contexts and the resulting questions
Very good written expression in German for drafting demanding reports
Team-oriented and interdisciplinary thinking personality
Practical experience in data analysis is welcome
