The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 employees. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. Attached to the presidency of the Hospital's Establishment Council (CEtab), the internal audit is looking to complete its team at the Rennaz site a·e :
Internal∙auditor at 80%
The main missions of this position are
- Independently conduct internal audit missions (assurance and consulting missions) in accordance with international internal audit standards and the hospital's internal audit function procedures
- Participate in the evaluation of the internal control system and risk management implemented by the hospital
- Plan missions, conduct interviews, perform necessary controls to cover the objectives of each audit mission, and write audit reports
- Issue relevant internal audit recommendations to create added value for the institution
- Follow up on issued audit recommendations and action plans
- Participate in the creation and planning of the annual work program, in collaboration with the head of internal audit
- Contribute to the drafting of the internal audit annual activity report
We require
- A higher education in economic sciences (Master, HES or equivalent diploma)
- A federal diploma as a certified accountant or a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification or commitment to follow the CIA training upon hiring
- At least 4 years of experience in the audit field (preferably internal audit)
- A dynamic and autonomous personality, with rigor and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and writing skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills (active listening, ability to simplify findings, empathy)
- Team spirit as well as a good ability to build trustful relationships
