The regional police is responsible for the basic police services in the canton of Thurgau.

To strengthen our teams in Arbon, we are looking for a

• Responsibility for controlling the operational service operations
• Planning, coordination, and leadership of police actions
• Planning and conducting service reports
• Conducting evaluations and promotion measures for directly subordinate employees
• Leadership and coordination of the main post in the absence of the main post chief
• Ongoing situation assessment in the main post area and initiation of appropriate measures in consultation with the focus element
• Assignment of tasks and orders to employees
• Ensuring and further developing quality standards
• Maintaining and coordinating contacts with authorities and offices in the main post area
• Providing leadership on-call duty according to applicable guidelines
• Providing tour service as needed
• Active participation in working and project groups

• Completed police training with a federal specialist certificate
• Several years of police professional experience
• Proven leadership experience, ideally with completed leadership training
• Strong social skills and very good communication abilities
• Independent, responsible, and proactive working style
• Openness to changes and further developments
• Holistic, networked, and cross-departmental thinking ability
