Portfolio Implementation Analyst (m/w/d)

As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are launching a new semi-liquid fund of private debt funds, and we are seeking a proactive and skilled Portfolio Implementation Analyst to join our dynamic investment team.
Position Overview:
As a Portfolio Implementation Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our new semi-liquid fund offerings, which are designed to meet the evolving needs of institutional investors in the private markets space. You will be at the forefront of our investment implementation, ensuring seamless execution of investment strategies, effective liquidity planning, allocation monitoring, and investment compliance.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a background in portfolio management or middle office functions, particularly within the private or alternatives markets. Your analytical skills and proactive approach will contribute to the fund's growth and success in the market.
We will count on you for:
Portfolio Implementation:
- Conduct exposure analysis and monitor current/planned versus target portfolio allocations.
- Maintain investment guidelines and compliance checks.
- Implement trading decisions and manage rebalancing activities.
- Analyze underlying portfolio data, including performance, risk metrics, gates, and cash balances.
- Monitor FX hedging implementation.
Liquidity Management:
- Oversee and manage the fund’s liquidity activities and events, ensuring that cash flows are effectively integrated into investment and portfolio rebalancing decisions.
- Monitor credit limits and leverage across the fund, ensuring alignment with investment criteria and guidelines.
- Monitor dealing terms, gates, exceptions, corporate actions to ensure compliance and efficient liquidity management.
Investment Risk Monitoring:
- Conduct pre- and post-trade compliance checks to ensure adherence to investment restrictions and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and mitigate breaches in investment guidelines and limits.
- Prepare and deliver regular monitoring reports to senior management and stakeholders
Trade Generation & Execution:
- Facilitate trade execution processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Maintain communication with service providers and internal legal teams regarding trade status and settlements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Preferred qualifications include CFA or CAIA designation.
- A minimum of five years of experience in middle office functions, preferably within the private markets or alternative investments space.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in portfolio management and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations and investment guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with portfolio management systems and proficiency in data and visualization tools such as Excel PowerQuery, Power Pivot, Power BI, and/or programming languages like Python
