Main Responsibilities
- End-to-End Ownership: From idea to production – you scale complex use cases, integrate them into our business processes, and take technical lead in key projects
- Build & Operation: Co-design our new analytics platform from the ground up, including secure and stable operation
- Senior Advisory: Professional consulting for data scientists in supervisory areas as well as close collaboration with other ICT teams to translate complex requirements into future-proof technical solutions
- Governance: Definition and establishment of governance guidelines for the use of the analytics platform and other modern AI tools
- Engineering Excellence: Ensuring the quality and reliability of data products through the use of CI/CD, robust data pipelines, and MLOps practices
- Knowledge Sharing: Participation and active exchange in our internal communities Analytics Circle and Innovation Lab – through active involvement, technical mentoring, documentation, and establishing good practices
Profile
- At least 5 years of solid professional experience in a comparable position focusing on data science / data engineering
- Relevant university or technical college degree or comparable education and training
- Extensive project experience with Python and SQL, additional languages are a plus
- Knowledge in using cloud services such as Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure AI Foundry, Azure ML), Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI is an advantage
- Practical experience in training and integrating AI models as well as solid knowledge in generative AI (LLMs, RAG architectures, prompt engineering)
- Ability to communicate complex technical matters appropriately for different levels and navigate confidently in a regulated environment
- Very good German skills (C2), good English skills (B2), French skills are an advantage
