A social educator at 80% permanent contract for the Cour home in Lausanne - Emergency reception
Do you have experience with children and adolescents in boarding school as well as supporting their families?
Do you know the Vaud network, while having a sense of responsibility and initiative?
Are you dynamic, flexible, creative, and able to stay calm under stress and urgency?

Our Mission: The Uttins and Cour homes provide emergency accommodation for an initial period of 1 day to 3 months, for eight children aged 4 to 15 years. Our mission is to secure the minor, work closely with families and the placement service, then assess the feasibility of a return to the family or medium to long-term placement.
Your role: Accompany the group daily - Ensure educational co-references with a systemic approach - Participate in professional meetings - Support parental visits - Participate in a positive team dynamic.
Your profile:
Swiss ES, HES diploma or equivalent - SEFRI mandatory for foreign diplomas,
Proven experience in family interviews,
Ability to work both in a team and independently,
Minimum 3 years of experience in the field,
Driving license mandatory,
Proficiency in common IT tools with good writing skills,
Trainer practitioner training is an asset.

A dynamic and committed multidisciplinary team,
Working conditions according to the collective labor agreement of the Vaud social sector (44.5h/week; 8 or 9 weeks of vacation/year depending on your age),
Annualized boarding hours with 12 to 14 weekends as well as night shifts (access to the site in 45 minutes or possibility to sleep on site),
Opportunities for continuing education.
