About the job
The Special Education Center Hagendorn specializes in the education and care of children and adolescents with cognitive and/or multiple disabilities.To support our team, we are looking for you as a School Special Education Teacher in our primary level learning group (4 - 8 year old students) starting August 1, 2026. You will work in an interdisciplinary team of 12 educational professionals consisting of school special educators, teachers, and educational staff. Together, you are responsible for the support of currently 12 - 16 children with cognitive impairments and complex disabilities.
Your Tasks
- Designing competency-oriented educational and support planning for your assigned children
- Planning and conducting joint as well as individual teaching units
- Collaboration with the parents of your assigned children
- Exchange and cooperation with specialist agencies
- Contributing to the innovative further development of teaching and the school
Your Profile
- Completed studies in school special education or teaching diploma with willingness to complete appropriate further training
- The ability to support and challenge students in a competency-oriented and individual manner
and to demand from them - Experience in teaching children and adolescents with cognitive impairments is an advantage
- A resilient, innovative personality as well as a healthy sense of humor are mandatory requirements
