The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,500 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Centre has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatric and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. To complete our surgery team in Rennaz, we are looking for a:

Specialised Clinical Nurse at 80%

The main duties of this position are

• To guide the members of the care team in mastering care
• To support changes within the team through a participative approach
• To identify the various issues affecting the quality of care and propose solutions taking into account the care objectives of the HRC
• To participate in the supervision of new collaborators
• To work on mandates from the ICUS and ICS
• To create documentation, procedures and processes for the department
• To work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

We require

• A bachelor’s degree in nursing or an equivalent qualification
• A master’s degree in nursing science
• Proven experience in a surgery department (minimum 5 years)
• Experience in an outpatient unit would be an asset
• Analytical and synthesis skills, a sense of priorities and initiative
• Very good computer skills
• A strong interest in project management
• A person able to position themselves with the existing teams
