I. Criminal Chamber
The High Court of the Canton of Zurich is on the one hand an appellate court in civil and criminal matters and also includes the commercial court. On the other hand, it is responsible for the independent judicial administration of the Zurich civil and criminal courts as well as for the notarial system.
The I. Criminal Chamber reviews district court decisions in criminal matters that are appealed as a second instance. For the I. Criminal Chamber of the High Court, we are looking for a court clerk as of November 1, 2025, or by agreement, limited until June 30, 2026,

Your area of responsibility
As a court clerk, you will actively assist in close cooperation with the process officer in the preparation and drafting of decisions, some of which will also be independently submitted by you. You participate in court hearings with an advisory vote and keep the minutes of the sessions. In addition, you will be entrusted with the independent handling of written appeal procedures and selected procedural decisions.
Your profile
The most important requirements for this interesting and demanding task are - in addition to experience as a court clerk at a district court of the Canton of Zurich - above all sound knowledge of criminal law, a fluent written expression, and the ability to work independently, efficiently, and accurately. In addition, we expect a team-oriented, helpful, and positive personality.
