Special ward for patients with severe behavioural disorders (SAP).

Inpatient rehabilitation for patients with severe behavioural disorders following brain injury requires a daily structure specifically tailored to them. An interprofessional treatment team is responsible for this. The focus is on building trust and relationships with the patients. The patients are at the very beginning of what is often a long rehabilitation process. The goal is to integrate the people into the rehabilitation routine on the other wards.

Your area of responsibility:

• Professional nursing, care and treatment of patients from admission to discharge or transfer
• Designing a daily routine tailored to patients together with the interprofessional team
• Defining nursing-specific goals and assessing the effects and progress
• Ensuring and coordinating nursing treatment including instructing other professions

Your profile:

• A completed qualification as a qualified nurse
• Experience with challenging care situations and interest in the field of neurological early rehabilitation
• Strong observation and communication skills to understand, analyse and convey complex situations
• Enjoy working independently and closely with patients in an interprofessional team
• Sense of responsibility, flexibility and willingness to reflect
• Persistence and empathy
• Very good oral and written German skills (at least level B2 with proof)
