Due to retirement, we are looking for a
Receptionist
The Merian Iselin Clinic is a state-of-the-art private clinic with a public service mandate in Basel. Our focus areas are orthopedics, surgery, and urology. With us, you will find meaningful work in a family environment where people are at the center.
Your main tasks
You are responsible for welcoming and caring for our patients and visitors, answering phone calls, forwarding them, providing information to internal and external customers, serving guests in our small cafeteria, and performing various organizational and administrative tasks. In addition, you monitor the alarm system and call out the on-call staff in emergencies.
Your profile
Ideally, you have good commercial knowledge and/or experience in a similar position (service industry/hospitality/tourism, etc.). You think in a networked way, enjoy working independently, and have a very friendly and service-oriented demeanor. You handle hectic situations effortlessly and keep an overview. You enjoy working very well with electronic work tools and quickly grasp new tasks. Very good German skills are a matter of course. Ideally, you can also communicate with our patients and visitors in foreign languages, French, English, and/or Italian. You enjoy working shifts from Monday to Sunday (early, middle, and late shifts between 6:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.).
