GATE108 is building a curated, international ecosystem of physical spaces — places where hospitality, culture, and meaningful encounters converge. Our spaces are not traditional hotels or venues; they are design-led, experience-driven environments operating at the intersection of hospitality, investment awareness, and brand.
We are looking for an exceptional **Head of Spaces / Hospitality & Spaces Manager** to take ownership of the build-up, operations, and international development of GATE108 Spaces.
Role Purpose
This role is designed for a hospitality leader with a builder mindset — someone who has already created, scaled, and operated high-quality hospitality concepts across multiple locations.
As Head of Spaces / Hospitality & Spaces Manager, you will lead the operational and experiential side of GATE108’s physical footprint, with full proposal and implementation responsibility, while investment decisions remain with the founders.
Key Responsibilities
• Build, launch, and operate GATE108 Spaces across Europe and selected international locations
• Define and uphold hospitality, service, and guest experience standards across all spaces
• Translate brand, atmosphere, and design intent into consistently high-performing physical environments
• Identify, evaluate, and propose new spaces, heritage properties, and hospitality opportunities
• Prepare feasibility, operational, and experience-driven assessments for potential locations
• Work closely with owners, investors, developers, architects, and local partners
• Act as operational lead for all space-related activities
• Build scalable operating models, workflows, and on-site team structures
• Oversee budgets, suppliers, staffing models, and operational performance
• Leverage and expand an international hospitality, real estate, and creative network
• Represent GATE108 in high-level hospitality, partnership, and development contexts
• Contribute to visibility, storytelling, and positioning of GATE108 Spaces
• Collaborate on content, brand presentation, and social media where relevant
Ideal Background & Experience
• Founder-level or senior management experience in boutique hotels, private members clubs, retreats, or experiential hospitality
• Proven track record in building and operating multiple hospitality assets internationally
• Strong understanding of hospitality economics, investment logic, and operational scalability
• Experience working directly with property development, leasing, or asset repositioning
• Natural operator with a strong creative and brand sensibility
• Comfortable combining hands-on operations with high-level concept work
• Highly autonomous, execution-driven, and accountable
• Thrives in international, fast-moving, and non-corporate environments
Language & Environment
• Fluent English required (native or near-native level strongly preferred)
• Additional languages are a significant advantage (e.g. French, Italian, Spanish, German)
• Comfortable operating across cultures, countries, and time zones
Employment Setup
• Full-time, permanent position preferred
• Remote-first role with regular international travel
• High degree of ownership and responsibility
• Direct collaboration with founders and executive leadership
