Job description
The EMS Pervenches medico-social establishment, located in the heart of the City of Carouge, in the canton of Geneva, is recognized for its appreciated location and the quality of its support, placing each resident at the center of decisions and recognizing the dignity, history, and abilities of each individual.
To ensure the strategic, organizational, and human management of the institution, the EMS is looking for its future Director, capable of embodying a deeply humanistic vision based on a culture of respect, kindness, transparency, and openness to foster a calm and stimulating work environment and guarantee the quality of services to the residents.
The body operating the EMS and the owning Foundation wish to strengthen the anchoring in the City and promote synergies with local actors (Carouge municipality, senior associations, schools, cultural actors, businesses, etc.) to make EMS des Pervenches a place of life, exchange, and citizen participation. The future management will play a key role in driving and structuring this dynamic and contributing to senior policy in Carouge, ensuring the integration of the two IEPA also owned by the Foundation in the Carouge municipality.
Your mission
In close collaboration with the governing bodies of the EMS and the owning Foundation, you:
- Ensure high-quality care centered on the elderly person and their life project.
- Lead and support multidisciplinary teams in a spirit of trust, exemplary behavior, and collaboration.
- Manage the budgetary, administrative, and operational aspects of the establishment in accordance with cantonal and federal standards.
- Develop institutional projects, support organizational transformations, and ensure the compliance of quality processes.
- Represent the EMS with health-social network partners, authorities, and professional bodies.
Profile sought
Your profile
- University degree or recognized higher education in management, health, social work, or an equivalent field, complemented by a DAS in management of health establishments or equivalent.
- Proven experience in managing a medico-social institution.
- Demonstrated skills in team management, change management, and leading innovative projects.
- Strong sense of responsibility, communication skills, ability to decide and unite.
- Strategic vision, ability to collaborate with the Geneva network, and understanding of societal issues related to aging.
