The Strategy and Development Staff Unit is looking for a personality as Project Manager Impact Orientation 50 - 90% - fixed term until the end of September 2026 starting January 1, 2026 or by arrangement.
The Impact Orientation project at the Swiss Red Cross is in its final phase. The goal of this phase is to consolidate the developed foundations – including the training and support offerings, the toolbox, and learning events – secure the gained experiences, and create the conditions for a possible future anchoring within the Swiss Red Cross network. Due to the departure of the current project management, we are looking for a committed personality to successfully complete this project.

What you can achieve
- Planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Impact Orientation project including goal tracking, milestone controlling, and preparation of interim and final reports
- Further development of systems, standards, and methods in the areas of impact orientation, monitoring, evaluation, and learning
- Leadership and coordination of the project team as well as external consulting partners
- Ensuring smooth information flow and communication with relevant stakeholders
- Regular reporting to clients and decision-making bodies (head office, network, management, etc.)
- Responsibility for budget planning, control, and contract management
- Anchoring the project within the line organization
What you bring
- Completed university degree
- Experience in project work as well as solid knowledge in impact orientation, monitoring, and/or evaluation
- Strong skills in communication, coordination, and conceptual work
- Ideally familiarity with association structures and association-political processes
- Innovative personality with quick comprehension, who enjoys actively shaping and further developing systems, methods, and processes
- Excellent oral and written language skills in German or French (C2), complemented by good knowledge of the other national language
