To strengthen our Rail Service team, we are looking for a strong leadership personality as Location Manager Rail Service for the Gränichen location starting October 1, 2025 or by agreement.
Your tasks
- You are responsible for the professional and personnel management as well as the work allocation of the employees
- You support the implementation of infrastructure projects in the areas of track, civil, and structural engineering
- You ensure the entire maintenance of the railway and railway ancillary facilities of WSB
- You ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding construction and maintenance of track work and are responsible for the implementation of occupational safety and health protection
- You collaborate with companies, authorities, municipalities, and customers
Your profile
- Track construction foreman with a federal certificate of competence or equivalent qualification
- Several years of proven leadership experience and professional experience in track construction and maintenance
- Driver's license category B
- Good IT skills and very good German language skills
- Medical fitness according to RTE 20100 (for training as safety chief, manager)
- Willingness for occasional night shifts and on-call duty shifts to ensure railway operations (no shift work)
- Team-oriented, resilient, and confident leadership personality with high professional competence
