At the Cantonal Court, the position of a full-time judge (50%) is to be newly filled for the remainder of the term 2025-2029. The election body is the Cantonal Council (§ 8 para. 1 JusG).
Expected legal area (subject to the constitution of the court after the election): Social insurance law.

Your tasks
- Judicial activity at the Cantonal Court of Lucerne
Your profile
- Completed legal education (Master or Licentiate)
- Bar admission or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience (preferably at the court, in law firms and/or in administration)
- Willingness to engage intensively with legal issues
- Knowledge of Swiss and cantonal procedural codes (civil and criminal law, administrative procedural law)
- Analytical thinking
- Ability to understand complex matters and communicate them clearly
- Swiss citizenship and residence in the Canton of Lucerne
