Your work will directly influence product development, market access, and innovation in regions where it matters most.What You’ll Do<ul><li>Lead patent activities across emerging markets, with occasional global scope</li><li>Advise regional and country leadership on patent strategies for pharmaceutical development, licensing, and launches</li><li>Contribute to shaping the strategic direction of Abbott’s global patent team</li></ul>Your ExpertiseYou’ll bring deep knowledge and experience in:<ul><li>Patent law, including freedom-to-operate analysis, patentability, litigation, due diligence, and prosecution</li><li>Supporting biosimilar and generic product development with strategic IP insights</li><li>Navigating complex regulatory and licensing environments</li><li>Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams</li></ul>What You’ll Need<ul><li>Qualification as a European Patent Attorney (EQE) or equivalent, or admission as an attorney-at-law</li><li>Scientific degree (BA, BSc, PhD or equivalent)</li><li>Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus</li><li>5+ years of experience in patent law, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry</li><li>Experience working in diverse, international teams and matrix organizations</li><li>Familiarity with emerging markets (METAP, APAC, China) is highly valued</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>A supportive, inclusive culture that values collaboration and continuous learning</li><li>Opportunities to lead and grow within a global healthcare leader</li><li>A chance to make a real difference in people’s lives through innovation</li></ul>If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, we’d love to hear from you.
