The position is attached to the Real Estate Department. This department's mission is to define a real estate portfolio strategy, develop coherence in the monitoring of major projects according to the 2022-2040 hospital master plan in close partnership with the main State services attached to the Department of Territory, the Department of Infrastructure, and the Department of Health, optimize the monitoring of surfaces and future planning, while ensuring the smooth operation of services. More than 230 professionals carry out their missions daily with constant demands, a sense of service, and environmental responsibility.
Within this Department, the Project Management Service is a service provider whose main mission is to conduct studies and works related to the renovation and transformation of existing buildings and installations in line with the institution's strategic plan for all HUG sites.
Job Description
As an architecture intern, you join a public company and work directly with a responsible architect.
You participate in creating documents for all SIA phases, from design to realization. You also produce photomontages, site surveys, and measurements.
You have a good command of specialized software as well as great professional rigor.
You demonstrate motivation, intellectual curiosity, and a strong desire to acquire new skills.
This position offers a learning opportunity allowing you to familiarize yourself with the particularities of the architect profession in the public sector, a setting distinct from that of a private firm, offering a more global and general interest-oriented approach.
Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in architecture and are a Master’s student in architecture at EPF or equivalent.
You are able to develop detailed construction plans, produce concept diagrams, create photomontages, and perform measurements with rigor and precision.
You have excellent mastery of architectural design tools such as Autocad, Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign as well as MS Office office tools (Word, Excel).
You demonstrate excellent organizational skills, great rigor, and can work both in a team and independently.
