Mechanic, Maintenance Specialist
Workplace: Nant de Drance Plant, Le Châtelard-Village, municipality of Finhaut (VS)
Your mission:
As a mechanic, maintenance specialist, you contribute to the availability, reliability, and safety of the mechanical equipment at the Nant de Drance power plant.
Your responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance work as well as work related to the rehabilitation and renewal of installations
- Actively participate in interventions on hydroelectric units, including disassembly, reassembly, and mechanical and electrical testing
- Propose technical improvements and participate in the implementation of improvement projects
- Collaborate with electrical, operations, and engineering teams to optimize the availability and reliability of equipment
- Ensure monitoring and operation of installations as an operator according to the established schedule
- Eventually, provide an on-call intervention service (about 5 weeks per year)
Your skills:
- Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a polymechanic, mechanic, or equivalent profession
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial mechanical equipment (hydroelectric field is a plus)
- Sense of responsibility
- Enjoy working in a team and mobility
- Ability to manage workload fluctuations
