Unit Secretary for the Forensic Genetics Unit of CURML
The University Center of Forensic Medicine of the Romandy (CURML), attached to the Department of Medical Radiology of CHUV, is looking for a unit secretary at 80% for its Forensic Genetics Unit (UGF).
Context
The University Hospital of Vaud (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
Located on the two hospital-university sites of Lausanne and Geneva, CURML consists of thirteen specialized units in forensic sciences.
The UGF's primary mission is to use molecular biology tools to provide objective elements both in judicial cases and for individuals wishing to know their lineage.
Mission
- You ensure the administrative management of judicial files and secretarial tasks
- You participate in the management of judicial samples and kinship analyses
- You contribute to the continuous improvement of work procedures in your area of expertise, as well as to the maintenance and development of the quality approach according to ISO 17025 standards
- You perform any other tasks related to the field of activity and/or according to your skills.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or a medical secretary diploma or an equivalent qualification
- You have 3 years of experience
- Your mastery of French, both oral and written, is excellent and knowledge of German is an asset
- You demonstrate impeccable discretion and confidentiality
- You master common computer tools.
