Our client, the BVS Packaging Systems AG, is an established Swiss company for efficient, safe and sustainable packaging solutions for industry and trade. As a reliable packaging partner, BVS supports its customers throughout the entire packaging process – from consulting and system integration to service, maintenance and after sales.

With individually developed packaging systems for distribution centers, e-commerce and industrial customers, as well as a strong service focus, BVS ensures that packaging processes remain efficient, economical and future-proof. Around 30 employees work at the Urdorf location, with the company employing over 60 employees in Switzerland, Germany and Austria in total.

The technical service is a central pillar of the company. To further strengthen this area, we are looking for a technically skilled and strong leadership personality who will further develop the service both organizationally and professionally and act as an interface between the team, customers and management.

Your Tasks

• Overall responsibility for the technical service area and logistics with around 10–12 employees
• Leadership, development and motivation of service technicians and related functions
• Organization and optimization of service and logistics processes, deployment planning and resource utilization
• Ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction
• Central interface function between service, logistics, sales (after sales), management and customers
• Active participation in the after-sales business, including service-related sales and technical consulting
• Analysis of service key figures as well as derivation and implementation of improvement measures
• Participation in the extended management
• Occasional assignments at the customer site if needed

Your Profile

• Completed technical training e.g. as an automation technician, polymechanic, electrician or similar
• Technical or commercial further education is an advantage, e.g. as a technician HF, technical salesman or in a comparable field
• Several years of experience in technical service or a comparable function
• Experience with technical systems, machines or production systems
• Initial to several years of leadership experience
• Structured, solution-oriented and communicative personality
• Team player with natural authority and high loyalty
• Curious personality with joy in technology and responsibility
• Very good German skills, good English skills
