• Taking over leadership in the absence of the store management
• Supporting the store management in leading and motivating the team
• Coordinating and monitoring daily operations
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and processes
• Supporting personnel deployment planning
• Personally advising and caring for customers regarding our entire small animal assortment
• Receiving, checking, and storing goods
• Merchandise presentation according to specifications
• Monitoring inventory levels and reordering goods
• Processing payment transactions including daily closing
• Assisting with inventories

• Sales training, retail training and/or several years of experience in retail 
• First leadership experience 
• Ambitions to take over a store management position later 
• Experience in pet specialty retail is an advantage 
• Flexible sales personality with a passion for animals 
• Responsible working style as well as neat and friendly appearance 
• Team spirit and communication skills 
• Organizational skills (hands-on mentality), endurance, and stress resistance
