This position reports to:
Service Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this position, you have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving the set production goals by adhering to systems and processes. You work daily with machines and equipment in manufacturing. Additionally, you contribute your expertise by reading and interpreting technical drawings and instructions for assembling products, systems, or control cabinets.
The work model for this position is: on-site
This role contributes to the Electrification Service (ELSE) area in Zuzwil, St. Gallen.
Your main responsibilities:
Production and service activities in the low and medium voltage areas, as well as in the railway sector.
Checking, controlling, and documenting work as well as creating quality and user reports.
Compliance with occupational safety, environmental standards, technical regulations, and workplace order.
Responsibility for assigned maintenance tasks and clearing orders.
Your qualifications:
Completed training as an automation technician or automation assembler (EFZ)
Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
Good mechanical understanding of assembly and modifications
Professional and structured working style as well as high quality awareness
Experience in electrical networks and energy system construction
Knowledge in low and medium voltage systems
Very good German skills in spoken and written form, basic knowledge of English
Teamwork skills, solution-oriented working, and communication skills
IT affinity and experience with tools such as SharePoint, SAP, Word, and Excel
