About the job
- As a geoinformatics specialist in the GIS Competence Center, you contribute significantly to the operation and further development of the municipal GIS infrastructure – based on ESRI and VertiGIS components, open-source software, as well as in-house developments
- You configure GIS specialist applications and support the implementation of in-house developments in the field of web GIS
- You analyze, optimize, and automate operational processes, interfaces, and workflows
- You have solid expertise and several years of practical experience in configuring and developing GIS applications and interfaces, ideally using JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, REST APIs, Python, and SQL or comparable technologies
- You are an initiative-taking, communicative, and eager-to-learn personality who enjoys contributing in a team and with our partners
- You have a university degree in geography, geomatics, computer science, or a comparable education
