About the job
What to expect
- Responsibility for budget, sales, and contribution margin targets as well as strategic and operational development of your assortments
- Conducting manufacturer and supplier negotiations on equal footing
- Evaluation and onboarding of new manufacturers as well as analysis of market and technology trends
- Collecting and maintaining master data including starting the article opening process
- Handling manufacturer billing (bonuses, HSG, bits & claims, credits) and ensuring relevant reporting
- Collaboration with marketing & sales to define communication priorities and marketing activities
- Interface to manufacturers, sales, marketing, purchasing, and accounting
- Implementation of the pricing strategy across all sales channels
- Collaboration with purchasing regarding procurement strategy, stock limits, and target coverage
- Co-responsibility for automated ordering processes including control of configuration settings
- Ensuring regulatory and legal requirements within the assortment
What you bring
- Completed commercial or technical training, ideally supplemented by further training in purchasing, marketing, or product management
- Experience in product management, category management, or purchasing – ideally in gaming, hardware, or consumer electronics
- Strong negotiation and communication skills in German and English
- Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for numbers, market trends, and performance KPIs
- Structured, independent, and responsible way of working
- High affinity for gaming, PC components, and technical products
- Ability to coordinate various stakeholders and drive topics holistically
- Routine in handling master data, ERP systems, and reporting tools
- Willingness to take responsibility for assortment, manufacturer relationships, and economic target achievement
