Project Manager Procurement Plant Cabling - Energy Technology
Your tasks:
You take over the central coordination and optimization of the procurement of plant cabling (low voltage cables including installation) for all substation projects in the transmission network:
- Coordination and optimization of procurement needs for plant cabling including associated installation activities across all projects
- In close cooperation with specialists: Developing, reviewing, and consolidating specifications into a uniform project tender; bundling several projects (up to 10) into a joint tender
- Coordination of internal specialists as well as external planners in the preparation of tender documents for plant cabling
- Together with the purchasing department: Evaluation, procurement up to contract conclusion and handover of work contracts to the responsible subproject managers for processing
- Coordination and further development of standardizations of technical documents, specifications, and contract documents
Your profile:
- Completed engineering degree (ETH/FH) or comparable higher education with a focus on electrical engineering / electrical planning
- Several years of project management experience, ideally combined with solid practical experience in the planning and design of cable systems (low voltage)
- In-depth knowledge in creating schedules and conversion concepts
- Experience in leading coordination and specialist meetings as well as consistently demanding and monitoring delivery objects
- Confident ability to delegate tasks / work packages, set clear interim goals, and control progress
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style with strong analytical thinking skills
- Distinct conceptual and communicative strengths, convincing and confident appearance
- Team-capable, reliable personality with high willingness to learn
- Very good German skills (C1+) and advanced English skills; French skills are an advantage
- Tool knowledge: Very good user skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with MS Project, SAP. Advantageous: Visio, AutoCAD, Engineering Base
