Senior Industrialization-Embedded Devices Engineer
RESPONSABILITIES
• Act as technical coordinator for the industrialization of hardware developments, supporting a multidisciplinary team in terms of electronics and optical developments
• Identification of suppliers and partnerships for future embedded device developments
• Build and manufacture prototypes, benches, calibration tools, performing optical measurements, tests and validations for embedded device developments
• Ensure design for manufacturing (DFM) aspects in new product developments (validate product design documents and test strategy)
• Be the preferred interface between internal product development team and suppliers
• Provide support during manufacturing and assembly of devices and sensors, including product change requests, assembly and calibration tools specifications
• Perform issues analysis at design/prototype stage as well as at manufacturing/production, being the owner of manufacturing flow charts, tools, bills of materials and versioning
• Be responsible for products certifications preparing the documentation and submission of files for certification applications and being the direct contact with certification organizations
PROFILE
• Technician/ Engineering degree in Electronics is a plus or equivalent
• 5-10 years of experience in industrialization Engineering and hardware development
• Strong background in electronic devices releases, reliability, coordination, testing and evaluation, maintainability
• Work processes and optimization methods
• Development software knowledge, ideally: Altium / Zemax / Labview/ Solidworks
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, MS Project, is a plus
• Well-organized and structured, with a proactive mindset and a hands-on, autonomous working style
• Fluent in written and spoken English / French
