Polymechanic, as Freight Forwarding Employee
Activities
- Receipt and inspection of goods upon delivery
- Preparation of shipping and freight forwarding for products
- Management of the warehouse (storage and retrieval, inventory control, stocktaking, etc.)
- Planning, ordering, and coordination of surface treatments
- Reworking of coated parts
- Setting up standard parts as well as performing minor final assemblies
- Organization of internal and external transports
- Deliveries within Switzerland with a 3.5-ton delivery van
Requirements
- Completed vocational training, ideally as a Polymechanic EFZ, Plant and Apparatus Builder EFZ
- Very good understanding of technical drawings, plans, and digital models
- Confident handling of MS Office and ERP systems ("abas" is an advantage)
- Experience in warehousing, logistics, and/or materials management is an advantage
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
- Valid forklift license and driving license category B
- Strong organizational talent, analytical thinking skills, and high reliability
- Committed, structured, and solution-oriented working style as well as independence
