Theater Winterthur is the largest touring venue in Switzerland, centrally located between the train station and the city park. The program, consisting of national as well as international productions or co-productions in the fields of music theater, drama, dance, performance, as well as children’s and youth theater, is aimed at a broad audience. The venue includes its own gastronomy with two bars and a restaurant. In the 2024/25 season, the theater was renovated and now has first-class technical equipment. In addition to its own program, it is also attractive for performances, congresses, and conferences by external organizers. We are looking for a responsible person for Marketing & Communication starting June 1, 2026, or by agreement.Your Tasks
- Coordination and implementation of the season program and advertising materials such as posters, flyers, ads, screens, etc.
- Planning and execution of various campaigns and communication measures for the theater program, mediation projects, and gastronomy
- Writing and designing newsletters and other mailings
- Maintenance and further development of the website and online marketing
- Collaboration with various agencies and printing companies, managing orders for photo and video productions
- Depending on workload and interest, responsibility for media work, further development of CRM and/or social media possible
- Deputizing for the Head of Sales, Marketing, Communication and collaboration on projects
Your Profile
- A person who has already worked in a theater or cultural institution and is enthusiastic about the lively environment of a multi-genre touring venue.
- Professional experience in marketing, communication, or CRM
- Digital affinity and knowledge of InDesign are an advantage
- Committed, goal- and solution-oriented working style
- Strong in planning, conceptualizing, and implementation
