During your training you will learn...
- the care and preparation of patients (m/f/d) in the operating area
- assistance during surgical procedures and handling of medical instruments and devices
- cooperation with the medical service and the OR team
- to get to know various areas of deployment such as operating room, outpatient clinic, endoscopy, and central sterilization
- to acquire the theoretical basics in about 2,100 hours of lessons
- to develop practical skills in about 2,500 hours of practical training
- to acquire comprehensive knowledge and skills for the profession in the operating service within 36 months
What do you bring?
- Intermediate school leaving certificate (Realschulabschluss) or secondary school leaving certificate with at least two years of vocational training or completed training as a nursing assistant (m/f/d) or (technical) university entrance qualification
- Good German skills in spoken and written form (at least B2)
- Health suitability for the profession in the OR area
- Enjoyment in dealing with people, empathy, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and motivation to actively participate in your training
