Collaboration in a motivated team for the planning and preparation of chemistry practical courses. Supervision of students in these laboratory practicals with plenty of creative freedom and direct influence on the learning success of the participants.
Department: Life Sciences and Facility Management
Start of work: From August 1 or 15, 2026 (15th preferred, if possible) The position is limited to one year with the option of extension
- Preparation of samples, chemicals, equipment, and materials for student practicals in the field of basic chemistry. Management of laboratory rooms and materials within the team.
- Supervision and guidance of students in the basic chemistry practicals with special attention to the safety of all participants
- Support of lecturers in the planning and design of new experiments and trials for the chemistry practicals and creation and revision of laboratory regulations.
- Participation in R&D, service, and small projects as needed, for example, when fewer practicals need to be supervised during semester breaks.
- For this position, we expect a completed university degree (BSc) in chemistry or a related discipline (e.g., biochemistry, biotechnology, or similar).
- Corresponding practical qualification in the chemistry laboratory
- Enjoyment and interest in teaching young people (experience is an advantage)
- Precise, reliable, and correct work in the chemistry laboratory as a role model for the students
